Irreführung von Kunden durch Wallpen!
Wallpen täuscht Kunden durch Weglassen von Informationen. Auf Ihrer neugestalteten Webseite behauptet Wallpen in den FAQ, dass man für den Wallpen-Wanddrucker keinen Meisterbrief benötigt und es ein rechtskräftiges Urteil gäbe! Dies ist unzutreffend.
Zutreffend ist vielmehr, dass Wallpen einen Beschluss im Wege einer einstweiligen Anordnung vom 19.02.2025 vor dem Verwaltungsgericht (Az. VG $ L 847/24) erwirkt und vorläufig Recht bekommen hat. Nur dieser vorläufige Beschluss ist rechtskräftig, mehr nicht. Dies rechtfertigt jedoch nicht die Behauptung von Wallpen. Vorläufig deshalb, weil nach einem einstweiligen (schnelleren) Verfahren in der Regel ein Hauptsacheverfahren folgt, in der der Streit ob ein Meisterbrief erforderlich ist, final und umfassend verhandelt und entschieden wird. Dies ist hier aktuell auch der Fall.
Der Ausgang des Hauptsacheverfahrens ist dabei noch komplett offen, ob nun der Betrieb eines Wanddruckers einen Meisterbrief erfordert oder nicht! Aktuell tauschen die Anwälte im Hauptsacheverfahren gerade ihre Positionen aus. Wallpen ist dabei mittendrin und kann nicht so tun, als wäre der Streit und damit das gerichtliche Verfahren bereits rechtskräftig entschieden! Nach jetziger Information wird es noch einige Monate dauern, bis das Hauptsacheverfahren vor Gericht entschieden wird! Ferner besteht dann auch immer noch die Möglichkeit der Berufung.
Die Frage, die sich uns stellt: wie wird wallpen mit den Kunden umgehen, die der werblichen Aussage vertrauen, ohne Meisterbrief einen Wanddrucker für viel Geld kaufen und dann nach einem möglicherweise ungünstigen Ausgang des Hauptsacheverfahrens ein Problem haben werden?

Wallpen - and dealing with customer reviews...
There are currently 53 positive Google reviews for Wallpen with an average of 5.0 * and no negative reviews. Sounds good - or does it?
We have doubts as to whether these are genuine customer reviews. 23 reviews seem questionable to us, including courtesy reviews from employees and partners and 13 without text or not recognizable as commercial customers. It is also striking that 13 negative 1* reviews have been removed!

Legally, we consider this to be anti-competitive. The Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court ruled that the systematic suppression of negative reviews is to be regarded as misleading advertising. We were able to observe "live" that bad reviews disappear - including our own, although this was legally permissible.
Within two days, Wallpen had our 1* rating removed for "defamation" with the following text: "In our experience, the printing technology, especially the print head, is extremely maintenance-intensive and very sensitive".
It seems unfair and dishonest to us to present a product costing EUR 50,000 with 53 perfect reviews, while critical voices are deleted. Kununu also reports: "Customers complain daily...". Criticism seems to be unwelcome at Wallpen.
Update from 11.03.2025
After the Berlin Chamber of Crafts had issued a statement on the classification of the operation of Wallpen's printer under craft law, excerpts of which are quoted here, and the ZDH (German Confederation of Skilled Crafts) made a similar assessment, Wallpen took legal action against this before the Administrative Court.
The Berlin Administrative Court then issued a temporary injunction requiring the Berlin Chamber of Skilled Crafts to revoke its legal assessment of us and to refrain from making this statement until the main proceedings had been concluded with final legal effect.
However, the last word in this matter has not yet been spoken, as the main proceedings before the administrative court are still ongoing. From our point of view, the outcome of this legal dispute and whether the operation of the Wallpen printer is subject to licensing, i.e. master craftsman status, remains completely open.
Unfortunately, there is still no legal certainty on this issue.
Update from 18.12.2024
We were asked via this website, which currently has over 600 active users, whether we would like to testify as witnesses in a legal dispute involving another dissatisfied Wallpen customer. Of course we are happy to help! The problems there are similar to our experience:
Before commissioning the printer, e.g. at the customer's premises, we had to test and bleed the print nozzles intensively and for a long time each time. Due to the transportation to the customer, the printing system always drew a lot of air. The so-called "nozzling" could take us 2 hours or even longer - at the customer's premises!
Update from 12.07.2024 to our previous publication:
There is currently a temporary injunction from Wallpen regarding our previous publication here!
We have deleted the offending passages here until further notice.
However, the Düsseldorf Regional Court also confirmed in its ruling dated July 9, 2024 that we may continue to publish the following statements:
"We have tried to realize the recommended retail price over 12 months.
During this time, we contacted over 10,000 (!) commercial customers by phone and letter with flyers!
We have been able to realize exactly 9 (small) customer orders in these 12 months."
"The break with the manufacturer came completely unexpectedly for us. "Overnight", access to the support portal was cut without notice.
Calls were met with "we won't give you any more support". Consumables were no longer delivered and there was no response from wallPen for weeks - we were basically left hanging!"
"In our painful experience, the hardware and software from wallPen caused us considerable problems right from the start!"
"In our experience, the printing technology, especially the print head, is extremely maintenance-intensive and very sensitive!"

Update from 28.05.2024: Now after 11 weeks, after we requested a maintenance contract and 4 customers already had to cancel because of our unusable wall printer, we received an answer or offer from the wallPen lawyer: We should pay 2 EUR per minute for telephone support/remote access, billed after 5 minutes or part thereof...
With our maintenance- and problem-prone device, 120,- € / hour is clearly too expensive for us!
